Alliance Healthcare Turkey proud to support and power up its people

Alliance Healthcare in Turkey - August 2022

Alliance Healthcare Turkey is proud to be a member of AmCham Turkey.  As part of this membership the team is able to benefit from networking with other like-minded businesses, as well gaining access to a vast network of business information and contacts in Turkey and valuable information on U.S. businesses across Europe, Caucasia and the Middle East. In addition, as AmCham Turkey/ABFT identifies, represents, and voices its members' interests, doors can be opened and lead to discussions with public representatives and as such bring about solutions to business challenges

A couple of exciting initiatives that Alliance Healthcare in Turkey has participated in are as follows:

1. Mentorship Program

AmCham Turkey was pleased to announce the 8th term of its Women Executive Mentorship Program as part of its Women Leadership Network initiative.

Alliance Healthcare Turkey is proud to have three participants this term: Duygu Tunçkan Pala (AH Turkey CFO) as the mentor, Idil Çetin Alışır (GNFR Manager) and Seçkin Özgüvenir (Quality Assurance&EHS Manager) as the mentees from our company.

Around 130 Mentor/Mentee matches completed the first 7 terms of the cross-company mentorship program, organized by AmCham in partnership with Korn Ferry Turkey and European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC).

The 1 year program features cross-company mentorship opportunities between the CEOs/C-Level Directors and mid-management employees in member companies.

The overall objective is to provide access to external senior leaders, support mid-level women executives with leadership development, bolster the women talent across companies, and support the advancement of women careers at all levels.

Women executives are expected to share their competencies, knowledge and experience regularly used in everyday practice.

We wish Duygu, Idil and Seçkin every success as they take part in the program

2. “Empower Her’

In addition, the company is participating in a new project called “Empower Her” being run by with the US Ministry of Trade in the scope of European AmCham Network.

As a company that views Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as a high priority, taking part was an easy decision and the business has become part of a group of 100 members from across the Europe and Eurasia region.

To be part of this project the company has formally signed a declaration pledging to ‘support, recognise, invest in and advocate’ the representation of women within the organisation, which Selim Taso, Managing Director of Alliance Healthcare Turkey was more than happy to do and extremely keen to support.

We look forward to seeing the outcomes of both initiatives and to seeing how the business drives forward its people development and commitments to empowering its people.
