"As the daughter of a pharmacist who for many years owned his own pharmacy, I spent my childhood in the
intriguing atmosphere of the pharmacy with all its exciting products and smells. Still, my own journey has taken
me via a university degree in English and media science, journalist school and some years as a news and culture
reporter, back into the pharmacy business as a pharmacist, some years in marketing and communication for a
competing pharmacy chain and then heading communications for our companies businesses in Norway.
My current role gives me the opportunity to use all the education and experience I have. My role is challenging
and exciting and really teaches me something new every single day. I never have a boring day at work.
My love for writing has brought me via journalism, combined with being a certified pharmacist, which means I can solve a very wide range of issues quickly and efficiently. Speed and understanding of both our business and how media works is essential in external communications.
Understanding the business and the pharmacy mentality is just as essential in internal communications.
I really appreciate being able to work closely with the international communications and public affairs team. Our international approach is a great strength and benefit of working for this company."
